This Week At PTY

peguesFrom Ms. Nakeisha Adams Pegues, PTY Principal:
(Week of Feb. 12-16)

• We had our first Book Fair at Price T. Young Elementary last week! The students enjoyed it and we had several parents that came up to purchase items with their students. Thank you, parents, for supporting the Book Fair! A portion of the items sold will go toward improving our J.H. Moore Learning Center and purchasing rewards for students who read successfully throughout the year and AR test.

• The Lions Club donated a "Buddy Bench" to PTY on Feb. 8. Our students are enjoying it to not only find a friend to play with, but a spot to rest with friends after playing on our new, wonderful playground!
